The company that coined the term ‘flagship killer’ has launched its latest Android smartphone for 2018 – named OnePlus 6. The device has an edge-to-edge display with almost no bezels and top of the line specs. These include the newest Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6 and 8 GB of RAM, a minimum of 64 GB of UFS 2.0 storage and a dual-camera setup with 16 MP + 20 MP sensors at the rear, with a 16 MP front camera. Oh and it’s got a glass body, instead of metal.
Is the OnePlus 6 a true 2018 Flagship Killer?
With the best specs and a great design, the OnePlus 6 looks set to put a dent in other major Android phones’ sales. For an asking price of Rs. 34,999 for the base variant, the Chinese OEM have again hit the bulls eye with the price-to-performance ratio. With the inclusion of the headphone jack and the launch of a bluetooth headphone, the Bullets Wireless, OnePlus have really come out with a bold statement.
It remains to be seen how their product will be perceived by the masses, as the reviews have already started to pour in with loads of positive feedback.
